Dr. Boyan Chr. Ivantchev has 23 years of experience in the financial markets as FX, stocks and fixed income dealer. Currently he is Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors in Advance Equity - Private Equity Fund. He is professor in Behavioral finance and pioneer in that area. In year 2017 Ivantchev founded first fMRI lab in Sofia (Bulgarian neurocognitive lab Ltd.), dedicated to neuroeconomics researches and experiments and he became the founder of neuroeconomics in Bulgaria. He served as an Economical Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of Republic of Bulgaria 2005-09.
Boyan published the first book by Bulgarian author about behavioral finance "Anyone Can Invest Successfully: If Will Avoid Illusions and Irrational Behavior" and "History of Bulgarian Capital Markets 1862-1948". In year 2015 he contributed with the chapter It`s Not Money Until It`s Postmoney in the bestselling book The Future of Business: Critical Insights into a Rapidly Changing World from 60 Future Thinkers, FutureScapes, UK, 2015.
